This Halloween-themed search-and-find book has children trying to find the one guilty monster in eleven huge crowds of monsters. The suspects include Vampire Bob, Igor, Joey Bones, Willy the Werewolf, Rowan the Witch, and Nefertiti, but none of them look too scary.
Clues on the bottom of every double-page spread let children know what to look for: Frankie has just spotted something that the candy-napper left behind. Here’s your first clue—find Frankenstein’s Monster, and see what he’s holding. Whether he’s in the cemetery, the haunted house, or Farmer Fang’s Pumpkin Patch, Frankie can be seen holding something that the thief left behind or dropped. If children study the first two pages of the book very carefully, they will know who stole the candy and be able to solve the mystery.
A bonus search at the end of the book will have readers going back through the pages looking for the pie, the hockey stick and the trophy (plus seven more items) hidden on every page. Children who have read all the Where’s Waldo books will find this book just as challenging.
