999 Tadpoles is about a father and mother frog whose 999 little tadpoles grow and grow and grow… until they grow into 999 little frogs and become too big for their small pond. The adventure to escape a scary snake and a hungry hawk and find a new home begins.
Children will be comforted by the steadfast and watchful protectiveness of Mother and Father frog, who do their best to keep all their 999 little frogs together in spite of the dangers that threaten to separate them. Children will also delight in the frogs’ quick-thinking solutions as they encounter perils on their quest for a new home.
The simple and beautiful illustrations will encourage counting and make children smile every time they read or hear this heartwarming tale. Highly recommended for children ages 3-6.
