AlphaPets
by Shiho Ishikawa
Ages 4-8 60 pages Seven Footer Press July 2010 Spiral

AlphaPets is a perfect activity book for kids on the go since everything they will need to create an entire zoo is contained in this small-sized spiral-bound book.

Each page is dedicated to one of the twenty-six letters of the alphabet. The perforated letters can be gently separated from the page, then folded, twisted and tucked (according to the directions in the back of the book) to create a different animal. Once constructed, the stickers that resemble eyes can be added to the creature to add the final touch.

AlphaPets is a unique book with the potential to occupy little ones for hours. The fact it will also reinforce the letters of the alphabet just adds to its appeal.
