Baby-PreK 18 pages Kingfisher April 2010 Board book

This board book features a number of animals that a rabbit encounters on a journey to deliver a birthday card to his nieces and nephews. Along the way, the careless rabbit drops the card, so he will eventually have to retrace his hops.

Since this is a counting book, preschoolers can count the various critters (up to ten) then count back down again as the bunny reverses his journey. The charming artwork and bouncy rhythm make this a very appealing book. Not only can the youngster practice counting, but he or she can also identify the many creatures the rabbit meets along the way.

The durable, "wipe clean" pages make this book all but indestructible, which means you can let your child turn the pages without worrying that the book may not survive more than four or five readings.
