This Spanish-language children’s book is about Apolo, a very, very long wiener dog. His coat is smooth and shiny, and he has a nose that makes him sometimes look like a hot dog. The best part of all: Apolo is adorable no matter how you look at him, front, back, sideways or upside-down, as he poses on the pages looking for attention.
The simple, primary-colored illustrations are perfect, sure to delight kindergarteners to first graders, the whimsical dog posing for maximum hilarity. Even on a page crowded with every other kind of dog, Apolo stands out from the rest, long, lanky and full of mischief. Anyway you look at him, this is one very special dog.
