Another in the popular series of animal identification board books, the latest "Baby Animals" volume features little animals found in exotic places. Full-page color photos feature an elephant, leopard, panda, rhinoceros, lion cub, hippopotamus and zebra.
The accompanying text mentions a physical feature of the baby animal, such as a zebra having black and white stripes, or a lion cub loving to "bounce and pounce" in the long grass and chase things.
At the bottom of each page, you'll also find a verb or action expression that is identified with the animal - the zebra likes to "gallop," the lion cub "roars," the rhino goes "squish squash" in the mud and the elephant makes a "trumpety-trump" sound.
Not only is this fun to page through as is; parents can also use it to ask their toddlers questions like "Do you see a panda?" or "What sound does a lion cub make?"
