Concerns of suicide attempts are reasonable assessments, but there's always some little thing that seems to validate what happens as an accident or unexplainable. How can Jane say that something evil keeps trying to kill her? Who would believe her? She doesn't believe herself, even though as events begin to pick up, her chance for a long, normal life seems to be quickly disappearing. Beyond is a nonstop dark tale of the indefinable mixed with a healthy dose of horror-like mystery. Readers who like similar works such as Deep and Dark and Dangerous: A Ghost Story by Mary Downing Hahn or Elements of Eden (a paranormal novella series) will enjoy Graham McNamee's latest work.
