This journal is ideal for children who like to read. Inside they can record books
already read, books waiting to be read, and their own book reviews. Library books, or books due to be read for an assignment, can be read in a timely manner by using the time charts inside. Not sure what to read?
Recommended reading lists are included. Newbery Medal winners and honor books from 2000-2005 are listed, as well as the National Book Awards from 1996- 2005. Bookstores also suggest books,
listing their favorite books for children in grades two through eight.
This is a very interactive journal. Children can use the two pages of stickers
in the “Books I’ve Read” section - fill in the information listed in the journal, then give the book a sticker rating. Create funny book reviews, letters to the author, and interview scenarios in
the "Beyond the Book Report" section. It’s as easy as filling in the blanks. Space is provided for the artist within;
favorite scenes and characters can be drawn in the spaces provided. Avid readers might fill up all the pages in this journal, but blank copies can be made for any page.
The journal is sturdy enough to handle all the frequent use it’s sure to get. The pages are white with colored text. Reading quotes introduce each section. This
is perfect for a birthday or grading present, useful for tracking past reading, planning future reading, and for today’s reading.
