Ages 0-3 14 pages Robin Corey Books January 2008 Board book

This bright and cheery board book shaped like a fish is a wonderful way to jumpstart a young child’s love for books. Aside from the unique shape, children can also grab and shake the fish’s tale to create a clapping sound as the sturdy pages bounce against one another.

In addition to this five-star presentation, the book includes a simple story about a fish’s search for a place to rest. Although a spouting whale, a swooshing octopus, a friendly crocodile and an alert crab prevent him from finding an immediate place to sleep, the fish does not seem to mind—especially since he eventually finds a place to get some shut eye among his friends.

Clackers: Fish is a treasure in all respects and the added bonus is that you do not have to swim deep into the sea to find it.
