Follow a cheerful frog to a variety of indoor and outdoor settings to experience the beauty of fire-engine red, sunny yellow, ocean blue, winter white, meadow green and more. A two-page spread for each color features a short rhyme and is beautifully illustrated with appealing, spirited and utterly adorable images of happy and bright-eyed kids and animals in a variety of settings.
The text is serviceable if occasionally awkwardly worded, but the cut-paper illustrations by Jason Oransky are outstanding.
