David Seuss (Mr. DooLee Doo) creator of SeussKids

Yes, you probably recognize the last name. This Seuss is related to the famous Dr. Seuss through his father, and like that iconic figure, David has the gift of words and art. Here he presents four short stories based on characters who overcome disabilities. The author writes from experience since he has children with medical problems.
The illustrations are fun and fanciful and engaging - Leggbor and Beellebb and Brida-Boo, a young girl who desperately wishes for a Christmas but has no family, friends or gifts. She then meets a Breggar and Trackle, and the "Christ-Missed" finally arrives.
The text is mellifluous and simple - for example, "He ran really fast. He ran really slow. He ran through the ice, and ran through the snow" from the book's first story, "Where Did the Leggbor Go?"
The author obviously loves children, and his book for short stories would be a wonderful addition to any young one's library.
