These three titles originate from the brain of Brian Biggs. Everything Goes: In the Air is the second picture book in the "Everything Goes" series, which acording to the book's back blurb "takes Henry on land and on the sea, too."
It is a fun and beautifully illustrated book aimed at four to eight-year-old readers. Many of the illustrations depict airport scenes and dialogue from the various passengers departing and arriving.
The vocabulary is challenging, with words like fuselage, transmission, baggage conveyor and jetbridge. These words are connected to drawings so the young reader can easily and instantly make the connection.
The second two titles are in board book format. In Everything Goes: Stop! Go! (A Book of Opposites) , Biggs contrasts fast and slow, up and down, big and small, and other simple concepts aimed at toddlers and preschoolers.
Everything Goes: 1-2-3 Beep Beep Beep! (A Counting Book) also targets toddler and preschool readers. The simple but beautifully illustrated board book with its vivid colors shows one bus, two RVs, three fire trucks and so on, taking children from one to ten with wonderful drawings of things that move on wheels.
