Ages 2-5 12 pages Candlewick March 2011 Board book

More than forty flaps hide all sorts of surprises in this “Maisy Fun-to-Learn” interactive book. The cute little white mouse is off on a series of adventures that involve different types of transportation. Whether by tractor, bus, truck, train or airplane, Maisy and her friends are sure to have a good time.

With Maisy in the engine and Charley riding in the passenger car, you can flip a flap to see who is waiting inside the train station and who is selling tickets. Flip another flap and the track signal changes from “Stop” to “Go.” As you check the station clock, you’ll see that the time has changed, too.

It’s “All aboard!” as you and your toddler join Maisy in her travels. The interactive aspect of this board book allows you to make up a few games of your own, like “What’s behind the flap?” or “Can you find the chicken or lamb?”
