Of course, no zoo would be complete without the ice cream vendor, which is followed by a viewing of other classic animals such as tigers, penguins and elephants. Lily and Milo are endearing characters who will immediately be welcomed as friends by readers eager to accompany them on their adventure. The smart text and the delightful illustrations will appeal to little readers.
