It's a book--but it's made out of cloth. Let's call it literary linen.
This wonderful little item is made of safe, soft and non-toxic materials upon which are written the words of the classic bedtime ritual story by Margaret Wise Brown. Though she died over 45 years ago, Brown's books are still widely read. As in Goodnight Moon , which includes rabbits and cats, animals figured prominently in her work.
The writing here has a rhythm, another key element of Wise Brown's style.
Here is a sample from Goodnight Moon :
In the great green room
There was a telephone
And a red balloon
And a picture of -
The cow jumping over the moon
This is a beautiful little book, soft and wonderfully illustrated. Once a child holds this in their hands, they'll never want to let it go.
