Hedgehug's Halloween
by Benn Sutton, illustrated by Dan Pinto
Grades PreK-1 40 pages HarperCollins July 2013 Hardcover

Decisions! Decisions are sometimes hard to make. One of the biggest decisions a child has to make this time of year is what costume to wear for trick-or-treating or attending a Halloween party.

Every trick-or-treater has to decide just what the perfect costume will be or if it fits. It makes it even harder if you don't have a costume selected before the big night.

Hedgehug is one such participant. His friend Hannah yells down his hole and asks him if he is ready for the party. Oh no! He has forgotten!

Hannah gives him many fun suggestions, but somehow mishaps keep happening with his costumes. Life isn't easy for a hedgehog...

Hedgehug's Halloween is a delightful book that is creative and fun to read and enjoy! The text is very easy to read, the pictures simple and colorful. This book could easily become a family tradition to be read together during Halloween time.
