Hello Baby: A Keepsake Journal for Baby's First Year

Hello Baby: A Photo Album of Baby's Delightful Moments by Eunice Moyle
64 pages Chronicle April 2006 Hardcover rated 4 1/2 out of 5 stars

As technological advances dramatically alter traditional photography---with an increasing number of pictures being emailed among friends and stored electronically--it is refreshing to find that book publishers are continuing to create time-honored photo albums to house pictures of a newborn child.

Hello Baby!: A Photo Album of Baby's Delightful Moments is a simple and sweet photo album which will hold approximately sixty photographs on its sixty-four pages. The photographs can be affixed by using the white photo corners (yes, those that you moisten yourself!) which are enclosed for your convenience. The pages have delicate, whimsical illustrations of animals representative of the uncomplicated and innocent characteristics of a new life. The pastel colors are mild and inviting, perhaps as a means of ensuring that all of your attention is directed to and remains with the photos displayed.

While this album is certainly no competition for the host of ostentatious others screaming to be purchased to welcome a new child, this is probably the point and merely adds to its appeal.
