Ages 7+ 128 pages Tyndale House April 2011 Paperback

In Patrick and Beth’s fourth adventure in the Imagination Station series, the time-traveling cousins have left ancient China and suddenly landed in 15th-century England, instead of Mr. Whittaker’s workshop.

They have a note that they are to find Cleopatra’s crown. But as they attempt to return the treasures that they have collected to the castle, the children are discovered and accused of stealing the items.

In the events that ensue, a joust is called between Sir Andrew and Master Hugh, each fighting for whom they think should be the rightful king of the land. As the joust takes a turn for the worse, Patrick and Beth must step forward to save Sir Andrew.

In this story, Patrick and Beth find out who Albert is and why they have been collecting treasures for him. As with the other stories in the series, readers will discover some facts among the fiction about this period in time—the jousting and knight etiquette—as well as be treated to the black-and-white illustrations that enhance the narrative.

Revenge of the Red Knight is yet another time travel adventure geared to readers ages 7 years and up. This book and this series is especially recommended for readers looking for Christian-based references in the plot. Recommended.
