Baby-preschool 28 pages Kane/Miller September 2002 Hardcover

In another book in the series chronicling his experiences, Kevin Takes a Trip, little Kevin rides on an airplane (with his Grandma) for the very first time. The adventure starts as he boards the plane after waiting on line with other passengers eager to do the same. Kevin buckles his seat belt, glides high into the sky, then feels a bit of motion sickness, which makes him a little scared. Everything works out, however, because the funny feeling goes away with some encouragement from Grandma, a snuggle with his bear, and a snack from the stewardess.

Just as in Liesbet Slegers’ other On My Way books, the illustrations here are simple and colorful. They will likely be adored by young children, since they may very well resemble drawings they have completed on their own. Kevin Takes a Trip gives readers another opportunity to meet a sweet character who transforms ordinary experiences into adventures that you will enjoy reading about with your child.
