Lots of Bots!: A Counting Pop-Up Book
by David A. Carter and Noelle Carter
Ages 3-5 16 pages Robin Corey Books October 2011 Hardcover

Bots are robots designed to do specific jobs. Vacuum Bots clean rooms, Toothbrush Bots brush teeth, and Dishwasher Bots scrub and rinse dirty dishes.

The Bots that resemble a jack-in-the-box are made to entertain. The one that looks like a helicopter can rescue those in need of help. Bots can work with animals, electronics, precious treasures or natural materials like wood.

Lots of Bots! is a counting book (from one to ten) written in a rhyming question-and-answer format (Who hunts for treasure in the oceans deep and cold? / 9 deep-sea Diver Bots search for jewels and gold/ Who puts on a dazzling show? / 10 amazing Acro Bots perform high and low).

Cheerful, bright pop-ups appear on sturdy paper when flaps are lifted or pages are turned. The Bots are drawn with mechanical parts such as springs and wheels, but many have eyes and smiles that are able to express happiness.
