Max and his friend Pinky want to paint the barn. They spend all day painting the barn a beautiful shade of red and finish just before sunset. But when they wake up the next morning, the barn is pink! Each time Max and Pinky paint the barn, someone repaints it a different color at night.
Max and Pinky are determined to unravel the mystery. In order to crack this tough case, they look for clues, give the barnyard animals a grilling, and devise complicated alarms and traps for the secret painter. The alarm goes off in the middle of the night - will they finally learn the secret behind this mystery?
The Adventures of Max and Pinky: The Mystery is full of silly jokes and loony schemes that will delight young children. The drawings are bright and bold, and the text is amusing. Max and his friend Pinky the pig are a likeable duo.
