After the rest, Mimi sets the table for dinner and prepares for her bedtime rituals, when she is reunited with Frank, who was missing for part of the day. It is without question the illustrations showcased in this book that make it stand apart from so many others. The crisp pictures and three-dimensional art create characters that come alive and cause readers to wish that Mimi and her friends could sit by their sides.
