What you see is what you get with Mrs. Mustard's Baby Faces , a seven-panel foldout book that showcases fourteen baby faces. When fully extended, the book is a row of happy faces floating upon brightly-colored backgrounds that could be prominently displayed in a child’s room. The set-up would be similar to the manner in which a bumper lines a crib.
When turned over, the same panels reveal crying babies with squinty eyes, runny noses, and grimacing mouths. Each baby face is more eager than the next to be held, consoled, and therefore transformed to the cheery babies on the other side.
Babies love babies, and they will also love Mrs. Mustard for bringing them so many endearing faces to emulate and admire.
