Children make this book their own by adding the words and the pictures. Each page contains an interactive activity that allows a boy or girl to identify and express their feelings through writing, drawing and coloring.
The questions and activities they are asked to complete allow them to discover how they feel about themselves and others. After answering basic questions about their family and home (I laugh really hard when someone in my family______, I share a room with____), they are asked to complete activities that prompt them to identify feelings they have had in the past and how they are feeling today.
The book comes with eight stickers (featuring pictures of children) that can be used to complete pages that focus on a variety of emotions (frustration, jealously, anger, happiness, fear, sadness, shyness and pride). The colorful decorative features and cartoon drawings complement the diary-like design of this book.
