Mystic Mommy: Knowing Who You Are, Why You're Here, & What You're Going to Do About It
by Cat Runningelk
196 pages New Century Press October 2005 Paperback

Mystic Mommy is the story of Juli, or Cat Runningelk’s, journey to discover herself, her purpose and her passion in life. Cat Runningelk, like many mothers today, has gone from a focus on career and life to children and the home. While immersed in the love of her girls, she can’t help but feel disconnected; somewhere along the way she has lost the connection within herself.

Bit by bit, through the mysterious pull of the universe, she reconnects with herself. As a first step at self-care, Juli books a massage for herself. What she receives, however, is far more than she imagined. Her massage therapist is trained in Reiki and provides energy work as well as deep-tissue massage. Through the energy work, Juli connects with something she had long ago blocked out – a strong sensitivity to the thoughts of others and a remembrance of her own past lives. When she explains this to the therapist, she is introduced to a path in life that is to become her destiny: the world of a healer.

While Mystic Mommy is more a memoir than a self-help book, Cat Runningelk’s story is an inspiration for mothers to reconnect with their life passion, search out their life purpose, and above all find themselves amid the chaos.

Cat Runningelk is now an inspirational speaker, spiritual teacher, author, and mother to three daughters. Her life work is to guide individuals to recognize their inner gifts and identify their true calling.
