Oh, the Places You'll Go!: Deluxe Edition (Classic Seuss)
by Dr. Seuss
Ages 5+ 56 pages Random House April 1993 Hardcover w/ slipcase

Oh, the Places You'll Go! is one of the many beloved works by Dr. Seuss. However, it has taken on a special significance as a common gift for high school and college graduations.

Random House has taken advantage of the status and put together a classy deluxe edition featuring Seuss’s famed 1977 commencement speech at Lake Forest College--“My Uncle Terwilliger on the Art of Eating Popovers.”

The book is hardbound and wrapped in a cloth-covered slipcase with that signature Seuss turquoise blue. It is a beautiful book that serves its purpose well as a timeless gift item.

So many family book shelves certainly have well-worn copies of Seuss classics, so this makes a nice addition but certainly not a replacement of that old copy of Oh, the Places You'll Go! with the crimped spine and the juice stains. There are many excellent Seuss products, and this is a nice addition.
