Ages 3-6 24 pages Simon Spotlight October 2010 Board book

It’s Christmas Eve, and Olivia has discovered her favorite toy - a stuffed monkey named Mathilda - is missing. Not only has Mathilda gone AWOL; Olivia’s father can’t find his favorite stocking, and her brother has lost a puzzle piece as well.Olivia thinks, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Santa would return lost items on Christmas Eve as he goes from house to house?”

Unfortunately, Santa isn’t about to do this, but “Olivia Claus” will. The little white pig launches a search-and-rescue expedition, and sure enough, she locates all the missing items behind the sofa. How did they get there? You might want to ask the family dog!

For Olivia and her family, Christmas is extra special because they not only receive lots of new goodies but are also reunited with some of their favorite misplaced, lost or canine-“borrowed” things.

If your child enjoys the Olivia books, this holiday volume will be a special treat. The irrepressible Olivia is at her best in this board book.
