The Pinkalicious series by Victoria Kann would not be complete without this new book. Inside are all the recipes you will need to create a dessert-themed Pinkalicious party.
The Classic Cupcake fits the theme of the first picture book, while others—like Purple Power Tower, Star Wands, and Emeraldalicious—replicate the colors from the other books in the series. There are two gluten-free cupcake recipes in this book, one for cake pops, and kid-friendly ideas for getting children involved in the recipes (example: I like to dip the cupcake edges in sprinkles). Because bakers have the option of adding a variety of candies and frostings to their finish product, there is ample room for experimentation (especially with Sweet Tooth Cupcake and the Pinkerbread House).
Experienced bakers may want to tackle the fairy cake or the Family and Friends cupcakes, while beginner’s will want to start off with the Valentine cupcakes (Pink is Love) or the Cupcake Palette. Back materials includes two pages of templates and a chart of metric equivalents.
This is a beautiful cookbook, full of pink colors, fancy backgrounds and borders, and fun ideas for celebrating Pinkalicious and her friends!
