A toddler takes on the identity of a princess when she plays dress-up.
When she’s wearing her glittery gold crown and shoes, she wants to be addressed by her real name: Princess Baby. Her parents often forget to play along (they call her “Buttercup” or “Cupcake”), but a subtle reminder—which includes the word please—encourages them to correct their mistake.
The glitter seen on the cover of this board book does not appear throughout the pages of the story, but the pink clothes, colorful jewels, and cute citizens of the kingdom (her stuffed animals) have just as much appeal.
Princess Baby also appears in the board books Princess Baby on the Go and Princess Baby, Night-Night.
