This is a sweet little book from Julie Merberg & Suzanne Bober for a very select audience: little girls caught up in princess dreams, where fairytales are magical and anything is possible. This may be a limited audience, but a fervent one, that special time in childhood when girls are made of "sugar and spice and everything nice."
The back cover has a sleeve to hold a photograph of the recipient of the book, with circles cut out of every overlaying page so that the face shows through in each new image: mermaid princess, snow princess, flower princess, fairy princess and, most wonderful of all, me! Each spread is whimsical and colorful, the illustrations playful and energetic. The perfect gift for the little princess who would love to wear a crown or fly with fairy wings.
