A few weeks after a little boy finds an egg and brings it home, he is pleasantly surprised when it cracks to reveal a little duck he names Henry. He is fascinated by Henry as he learns to walk, stretch, sleep, and, eventually how to quack.
As the story progresses, Henry quacks at a lot of different animals but he eventually learns that a female duck is the most receptive to the noise and actually seems to speak the same language.
Little Duck Says Quack! is a sweet board book that produces a quacking noise when readers press the button located on its upper right corner. The auditory element of the book, along with the sharp, poignant photographs accompanying the simple text, make this book a wonderful addition to any child’s book collection.
