F is for fiasco (which she defines as a big flop), followed by L for lavender (which is fancy for light purple). The rhyming text has a sing-song quality that will have parents and kids alike chanting about aliens, and the brightly colorful and highly imaginative illustrations pop off the page. These are not aliens to be feared, though - it ends up being the reader who heroically scares them back into space where they belong.
