When trucks move, they make some fairly distinct noises - the garbage truck goes buraba buraba buraba, beep beep beep, crunch crunch crunch; the box truck goes chuggada-chuggada clankitty clank; and the auto carrier goes roooor roooor bumpada bumpada honk honk. The tanker truck, fire truck, tow truck, cement truck, and horse trailer each have their own distinct sounds.
Steve Light masterfully showcases each of these vehicles in Trucks Go , a rectangular board book that is the perfect vehicle to introduce little ones to each mode of transportation.
A caveat for those who have a perfectly-organized book shelf, however, is that the oversized rectangular shape of this board book, which adds to the book’s charm and appeal, will likely prevent it from being able to be tucked neatly alongside the other books in the child’s collection.
