Children will love what I like to call the dictionary of hugs - the charming board book entitled Won't You Be My Hugaroo?. In it are a wide range of animals exchanging all types of hugs, ranging from the catch-you hug (which is full of play) to the twirly hug (which transpires on a spinning teacup ride) to a tickle hug, to the hug that will cheer you up when you are having a bad day.

The darling illustrations and the rhyming text makes this book the ideal one to use right before a cozy hug - which is the name the book gives to embrace that occurs when stories are read while relaxing on a bed. In addition, the bonus of adding Won't You Be My Hugaroo? to your book collection (other than getting an adorable board book) is that your child will likely respond by showering you with each of the hugs so thoughtfully explored within it.
