Ages 2-6 16 pages Clavis November 2016 Board book

This follow-up to Where Does Rabbit Live? A Big Book of Animal Searches will have the reader searching for an orange-and-white kitten in six different noisy settings.

On the farm, she hears over ten noises (peep, cluck, squeak, vroom, boing, peck, oink). In the city, she hears the tring of a bicycle and the h-o-o-nk of a truck. When ketchup spills (splat), she hears “Watch out!” from a driver. There are sirens and pigeons and friendly dogs as well. Kitten then visits the zoo, the beach, the woods, and the park before returning home after hearing the rustle of her treat bag.

Each double-page spread of this oversized board book contains questions (Do you see the orange books? Which book is bigger?), items to count from one to ten, and sounds to say aloud. Although the pages are not as crowded as the Where’s Waldo books, this book will keep a younger child busy on a road trip or during an airplane ride with numerous fun things to find. The brightly colored pages even contain a bit of humor for those who look closely enough.
