The only thing more endearing than the vibrant fuzzy dog on the front of this cloth book (which has a body that extends to the back cover) is the pages that follow it. Where's My Bone? revolves around a cloth bone attached by a string that can be pushed, pulled and tucked into a number of hiding places as the story unfolds.
The wide-eyed dog is on a mission to find the bone, looking for it in the water, represented by a plastic fish tank into which the reader can slide it. It can also be hidden in the cloth car, behind the fluffy cloud, under the lift-the-flap beach ball, between the mountains, or into the mouth of the dog (which is likely his preference).
The bookstores shelves are crowded with cloth books, leaving readers to question which one they should add to their book collection. The only question readers will have after picking up a copy of Where's My Bone? is how long they will have to wait until the publication of the next book in this series.
