It is the first day of school in Gabba Land, and Toodee and Brobee are not overly thrilled about heading off to the classroom. The two friends would rather stay home and watch bugs.
But their friends tell Toodee and Brobee not to worry, so off they go. Of course, the day is a success and ends with the pair glad they went to school.
Filled with positive platitudes about the first day of school, this little book is very predictable. If your child is a fan of these characters, then by all means, purchase the book. But if you are looking for something original or a book that shines a new light on the first day of school and why a child shouldn’t be worried about it, this isn’t the answer.
