Ages 1-3 18 pages Candlewick September 2012 Board book

It is never too early to start emphasizing the importance of being kind to other people. This board book for toddlers does just that. There are many ways to be kind and some of the easiest are pictured here.
“Say hi to your friend.
Be kind to your pup.
When someone falls down, help them up.
Share warmth when it’s cold.”
These are some of the easier things a little person can do to show kindness. Sharing food, taking turns on play equipment, saying “thank you” and “I’m sorry” are other ways of showing those around you that you care about them, Perhaps the best way of showing kindness is giving a person a “great big hug!”

Whatever they do, these simple acts of kindness are certainly things children can do, and the sooner they start, the better. The cute illustrations that reinforce these random acts of kindness make Baby Be Kind a book toddlers will love looking at over and over again.
