It is amazing that a few adjustments to a classic Seuss story, including shrinking the size of the size, reducing the number of pages and amount of text, and adding some flaps, textures, and interactive surprises, can actually enhance a story that already has an existing fan base dating back fifty years. Happy Birthday, Baby! highlights the key points of the original story, which focuses on how a particular town celebrates the birthday of its inhabitants. The text of the story is modified for its youngest fans, but it’s done in a masterful way that maintains the essence of the original story...
