Grades PreK-1 24 pages Random House May 2011 Paperback

This level 1 Step Into Reading tells the story of two little girls considering their options for summer fun, flip-flopping between all their choices, including what to do, eat and which shoes to wear. Colorful, summery illustrations evoke smiles as the girls go through the list of numerous summer activities available to them.

As with all Step 1 Readers, this book is aimed at beginning readers in pre-K to kindergarten and uses a rhyming pattern, a mixture of short words with an introduction to longer words and some visual cues. This reader also includes two sticker sheets in the back of the book of different things that might be found on pages on the story, such as a pair of flip-flops for the beach.
