Baby-3 12 pages Golden Books May 2009 Board book

As children move through their day, small mishaps are bound to happen, and Oops-a-Daisy! is a wonderful tool to teach children about that inevitability.

Milk may spill, potty training takes time, and most children learn about the dangers of untied shoelaces the hard way. Painting is a great project but often messy, and even adults know that a scoop of ice cream may not always be planted firmly on the top of a cone. When any of these accidents occurs, a quick “oops-a-daisy” is often the most appropriate measured response to acknowledge the incident and move forward.

Oops-a-Daisy! is a sweet board book with flaps that children will love to lift to reveal the accident that is bound to happen. Most readers will likely squeal the word with delight with each revelation - and wouldn’t it be nice if children continue to use this mild and harmless tactic to respond to more challenging situations as they grow?
