Baby-PreK 14 pages Little Simon June 2007 Board book

Karen Katz has penned another classic lift-the-flap book that will delight little ones who have become accustomed to grasping the pages of her books to reveal what is hidden beneath each vibrant illustration. In Peek-a-Baby, a gigantic flap on each page is lifted to expose a beaming child hidden behind.

One child is hidden behind a bright yellow umbrella, and another is hidden behind the hot pink and purple shorts hanging from the clothesline. A red ball hides another child, and by pulling at the blue cowboy hat you will find a darling little boy. The curtains and even a teddy bear represent ideal hiding places for two other kids, who are more than ready to express their delight once they are found.

Peek-a-Baby is a great addition to the collection of interactive lift-the-flap books that Karen Katz has already created. This one will make fans even more eager to learn what else she plans to hide under the flaps of her future stories.
