Search for the Pirate's Treasure introduces little readers to interactive story reading.

The adventure starts in a pirate ship and leads readers through a journey to find a hidden treasure. The way you complete the task (and, by extension, what happens in the story) depends upon the choices you make on each page.

If you are inclined to start your adventure by climbing a ladder, you will turn the page using the slot labeled as such. If you would rather move through an open door, you will turn the page using the alternative slot that leads you through a different route. As the ship is explored, steps, doors, ladders and passageways can be followed or avoided depending on how you opt to proceed.

Search for the Pirate's Treasure is an interesting concept that makes the reading process interactive, which may be a welcome change to more traditional bedtime reading.
