Woof's Bedtime is full of fun and interactive ‘touch-n-feel’ activities guaranteed to fascinate and excite new listeners. Starting with a soft and fuzzy yellow blanket and shiny stars on the front cover, each page contains an opportunity for discovery.
As Woof puts on his pajamas and brushes his teeth for bed, little listeners will giggle with delight as they discover their own faces in the accompanying mirror. Woof jumps into bed and puts on some fuzzy socks which have a fabulous foamy fuzzy feel. As he reads his favorite story, little ones can lift the big book flap. Woof finally snuggles beneath his fuzzy, warm yellow blanket and drifts off to sleep.
Woof also displays all the signs of sleepiness as he goes through his nighttime ritual. He rubs his sleepy head as he puts on his socks, gives a big yawn as he reads his book, and cuddles with his Teddy as he snuggles beneath his blanket. As the story ends,“Stars are twinkling in the sky; they sparkle clear and bright. Woof looks up to see the moon and whispers… Nighty night!”
Woof's Bedtime is a great length for little listeners and contains all the rituals of bedtime; the ‘touch-n-feel’ activities add an additional element of learning. Caroline Jayne Church has a long list of additional children’s books to her credit, and deservedly so - she is a truly fabulous illustrator.
